Educator Certification 101: Licensure in Washington State

Come learn more at this WEA Certification Workshop,
sponsored by the Kent Education Association.
Topics to be covered include:
- Become familiar with recent policy changes affecting teacher certification
- Learn about the new National Board process
- Get an overview of ProTeach©
- Explore new certification renewal requirements
- Review how to move from a residency to a professional certificate, renew a continuing certificate, or add an endorsement
- Find out what support WEA can provide along the way

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm (Dinner will be served, beginning at 4:30 pm)

Three (3) clock hours will be available at no charge, courtesy of WEA. Dinner and all materials will be provided at no charge, courtesy of KEA.

Limited to 45 participants. You will get immediate confirmation of your registration if there is room in the workshop when you register. If the class is full, you will be placed on a waiting list and and get confirmation of that as well.
