Your Vote

KEA election season is underway, and ballots will be dropping soon. This election will include KEA Officers, NEA Delegates and Constitution and Bylaw changes. Included in this email you will find all the information you need to make an informed vote, including individual candidate statements as well as the proposed changes to our Constitution and Bylaws.

KEA Officers

KEA Officers are elected to serve a 2-year term beginning July 2023 through July 2025. Here you will find KEA Officer candidate statements followed by informational flyers submitted personally by each candidate.

NEA Delegates

KEA members are elected to be delegates at the NEA Representative Assembly that occurs in July. This year, KEA will elect 10 delegates. Here you will find NEA Delegate candidate statements.

Constitution and Bylaws

The Constitution and Bylaws Committee has put forth several proposals to be voted on by the general membership. 

Below you can access the summary document with rationale for the changes as well as each individual document to view proposed changes in context. You will be voting on each proposal individually. Please note that Proposal 4 has been withdrawn.

Important Things to Note

Ballots will be delivered to your home email address on April 7th at 8:00 a.m. by BallotPoint. The ballot will not come directly from KEA and may appear in your junk email folder. Remember that only KEA members are eligible to vote, please do not forward the email you receive to any of your co-workers.
